Satellite of the Royal Botanic Garden, Edinburgh, north of Dunoon. National pinetum and rhododendron collection, with a mild climate and heavy winter rainfall. Open March to October. Information for visitors.

Kew at Castle Howard (North Yorkshire) is a wonderful arboretum set in the outstanding Howardian Hills containing many rare and endangered trees and shrubs.
